Daughter and son of Dean’s visits on weekends, holidays but not there all the time. Note: daughter Heather age 16 doesn’t like to talk about the activity that is occuring

What is happening? Jennifer has heard a man’s voice which seems to be coming from living room area. Dean has experienced hearing what seemed to be someone walking around in the living room and kitchen areas which occurred at 4:30 in the afternoon. No one there. Also, Dean spoke of an incident which occurred at approximately 11:30 pm one night. His wife was asleep and her son Michael drove up into the driveway. He stated that he was awake and saw the headlights from Michael’s car light up the room. Dean stated that as soon as Michael drove up into the drive, he heard what sounded like a child running down the hallway. Another incident occurred one morning around 3:00 am when Dean had to take a trip to Atlanta. He said the alarm had sounded and he had pressed the snooze button but was lying there dreading having to get up. He heard what was a rattling sound which sounded similar to the ceiling fan chain but wasn’t that. He said it sounded as if it were coming from the floor. A few minutes later he heard the cologne bottles on the dresser clinking.
Jennifer once heard a child laughing on the front porch area. Dean stated that he has also heard voices but stated that he doesn’t hear well and just attributed it to being Michael playing on the computer or talking to friends. Because Jennifer has heard it when Michael was not around, Dean is not so sure that perhaps he has heard what Jennifer has heard.


Where is it happening (what room or location?) Primary area seems to be the area between the living room and dining room…also the bedroom

What time of day or night is it happening? Mainly at night but did have the 4:30 incident

Does there seem to be a pattern and if so what is it? No

How long has the phenomena been going on? The Evans have lived there since late July or early August 2010. Started about a month after moving in.

Does the phenomenon appear to be focused on one person or item, explain? No

Any other information that may be helpful to OPS: They asked the landlady point blank one day if anyone else had experienced any weird stuff happening. Dean stated she looked down and stated that yes there had been other incidents. Apparently the daughter of the landlady lived there for a while and the daughter found a kitchen cabinet open one morning that had been closed the night before.

Also, Michael has heard doorknobs being jiggled.


Does the location have a covered, heated area for monitoring set up? Stated can set up in one of the other bedrooms.
